SATVI's Associate Professor Elis Nemes, shares her experiences as woman science leader in an article titled: "Women in STEM becoming independent: Journey to independence is an immensely gratifying odyssey" appearing in the Journal of Experimental Medicine.  

In this article the Journal of Experimental Medicine highlights women in science by sharing their stories and amplifying their voices. It features a cross section of women, across multiple research fields, discussing their science and the process of setting up a lab as an independent researcher.
