Frissiano is a biostatistician specializing in predictive modelling and the use of biomarkers to improve healthcare outcomes. His work integrates advanced statistical methodologies to enhance disease prediction and support clinical decision-making. His research focuses on improving diagnostic accuracy and optimizing treatment strategies, ultimately advancing precision medicine and personalized patient care. Frissiano teaches in the MPH and MSc programs and supervises master’s students in the Division. He is also a member of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB) and the South African Statistical Association (SASA).
