The FHS Writing Lab is launching a new series titled “My Perspective on…”, which aims to foreground academic literacies as a socially situated, disciplinary practice.

Through this series, we are inviting colleagues and students to make visible the often assumed and hidden ways in which knowledge is constructed, communicated and valued within your fields. With your help, our goal is to collaboratively support students and emerging researchers in understanding not only how to write, but how to participate meaningfully in disciplinary conversations.

Contributions will be shared via our Writing Lab platforms (website and LinkedIn) and you will be fully credited. We are also happy to work with you in shaping your piece, should you wish.

Share your perspective If you're interested, drop us a mail with your topic. Every contribution is developed in conversation with us and curated to fit the series, so your piece will be in good hands as we build a more explicit, inclusive and critically engaged conversation around writing and learning in higher education.
