Larske is a health researcher and medical doctor with expertise at the intersection of maternal and child health and non-communicable diseases, within the context of health inequities and challenges. Using a life-course approach, her specific interests include maternal non-communicable disease risk, its impact on child health and development, pre-conception and postpartum health, drivers of non-communicable disease risk in different populations, and qualitative evaluations of related interventions and lived experiences. As a Research Officer for the AXA Chair in Non-Communicable Disease Epidemiology in the School of Public Health, she aims to contribute to knowledge advancement and health improvement in these areas through research and supervision activities.
