Ncumisa is a dedicated public health researcher and project coordinator with expertise in maternal and child health research, data management, and community engagement. At UCT, she oversees project operations, staff support, and logistics, particularly in the CHERISH study, where she manages participant recruitment and mental health screening.

With a strong foundation in epidemiology and biostatistics, she leverages RedCap and R for data collection and analysis, contributing to studies on ART initiation, retention, and health system strengthening. Beyond research, she excels in project coordination, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement, managing large grants and international collaborations. Passionate about evidence-based interventions and community centered approaches, she is committed to translating research into policy and practice to improve healthcare access and equity.
