Christina is a 3^rd year medical student. Her role allows her to explore and highlight pressing topics in global health, and deepen the insights of students into this emerging academic field with the goal of bolstering their engagement with community and population health challenges in the South African context. She is also keen on establishing international collaborations with academic global health groups and student global health forums. Her clinical interest currently lies in Ophthalmology, which combines the elements of medicine, surgery, and cutting-edge scientific innovation.
