World TB Day 2024: Yes! We can end TB
Join us in marking a pivotal moment in the battle against TB this World TB Day, March 24, 2024. Following the UN High-Level Meeting on TB in September 2023, we've witnessed unprecedented progress: a record 7.5 million diagnoses out of an estimated 10.3 million cases in 2022 - the highest number of people with TB ever diagnosed and treated in a year.
As we continue to celebrate the strides made by High-Burden TB Countries in expanding access to groundbreaking diagnostics, treatments, and technologies, our theme remains unchanged, emphasizing the power of collaboration among those affected by TB, communities, civil society, and innovators in our shared journey towards ending TB by 2030.
On 24 March 2024, we will need everyone - political leaders, civil society, donors, researchers, TB communities, the private sector, and most importantly, each of us - to take this message one step further by saying what each of us is doing to help End TB, and challenging those in power to do the same.
This World TB Day, we call on everyone—political leaders, civil society, donors, researchers, the TB community, the private sector, and individuals—to declare their actions to fight TB and to challenge others to do the same. Together, we stand united in our mission to end TB and save lives. Our message is powerful and simple: #YesWeCanEndTB.
Let's all pledge to drive forward change, embodying the spirit of 'Yes! We Can End TB!' on this World TB Day and beyond.
