Miss Mia Briner

Mia Briner graduated with a BSc in biochemistry and genetics from the University of Cape Town in 2024. Currently she is doing her honours in the Human genetics division in the pharmacogenomics group. Her honours project is titled “Comparative analysis of MTHFR promoter methylation status among pre-eclampsia, resistant hypertension, and non-resistant hypertension patients” and is being done under the supervision of Prof Collet Dondara.
