Miss Athianda Bukula

Athianda Bukula graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2024 with a BSc, majoring in Biology and Genetics. She is currently doing her Honours degree in Human Genetics, working on the project titled “Establishing the baseline frequencies for genetic variants in ABCC2, UGT1A9 and SLCO1B3 among African populations: implications for treating lupus nephritis using mycophenolate mofetil (MMF),” under the supervision of Prof. Collet Dandara and Dr. Khuthala Mnika.
