Dr Xena Nkome-Visser obtained her MBChB from the University of Pretoria in 2017. After completing internship in Bloemfontein, she went on to do community service in Carletonville. In 2021 she joined the Forensic Pathology Service in Sebokeng and obtained a diploma in forensic pathology in 2022. In 2024 she joined the division of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at UCT as a registrar.
