LibGuides are online repositories of literature and other resources. They are created by librarians to collect, organise and guide through information available on a particular topic.
The NISH LibGuides: VPDs in Africa helps National Immunization Technical Advisory Groups (NITAGs) in the WHO Africa Region to easily access relevant resources for policy work and evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM). The guides provides a reliable source for literature review, benchmarking, trends as well as collaboration opportunities. They include published, scholarly peer-reviewed articles and grey literature, such as reports and visual presentations from all available databases and resources, including PubMed, the WHO, and Cochrane on vaccination in Africa. Resources are updated regularly and include open-access literature (OA). Where possible, non-OA articles can be made available on request.
The LibGuides: VPDs in Africa is a collaboration between NISH and UCT Libraries at the University of Cape Town. The guides are continuously being updated with relevant research evidence resources.
