Hundaol Hordofa
Hundaol completed a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology at Jimma University (Ethiopia), in 2016.His final year research project was on “Prevalence of intestinal parasites among food handlers at cafeteria of Jimma University Specialized Hospital, Southwest Ethiopia” under supervision of Prof.Getenet Beyene. After his graduation, he was employed at Molecular Bioilogy Research Center inside Jimma University, as a research assistant in 2017. In 2019, he then joined the University of Cape Town (UCT), Division of Human Genetics in the Pharmacogenomics and Drug metabolism research group led by Professor Collet Dandara for his MSc (Med) in Human Genetics.
Research Project: Assessment of human Cytochrome p450 polymorphisms and their associations with plasmodium vivax drug resistance
