Dr Laura Taylor obtained her MBChB degree from the University of Cape Town in 2007. After community service, she worked in general surgery and emergency medicine. In 2015, she obtained her Diploma in Forensic Pathology. Thereafter, she worked as a registrar at UCT from 2016-2019. Her MMed research related to post-mortem organ weights at a South African mortuary. Moreover, she has a keen interest for post-operative deaths and forensic histopathology.
