Dr Sidy Ndiaye

WHO Africa Region Representative

Dr Sidy Ndiaye (MD-MPH) has a medical degree from the Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) Dakar, Senegal and a Master's degree in economics and management of health sciences from Paris Dauphine. He currently works for the WHO Regional Office for Africa in Brazzaville as an immunisation officer. Prior to joining the WHO, he was a physician in the Prevention Department within the Ministry of Health and Social Action in Senegal. Dr Ndiaye has also worked as a consultant focusing on equity in immunisation at UNICEF. He has extensive experience in district-level immunisation programmes as the Chief Medical Officer in the Koki Health District, Louga, Senegal, for almost ten years until 2019. He has extensive experience in strategic planning and research within vaccinology in Africa.
