Career Development Workshop
The Career Development Workshop will be held between 5th- 6th March 2020 at the University of Cape Town Faculty of Health Sciences.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together representatives from government and industry to enlighten health science postgraduates about employment opportunities outside of academia. Often, these ‘alternative’ careers are not emphasized, resulting in skilled graduates missing opportunities in suited fields, mainly due to a lack of exposure. This unique opportunity is a concurrent capacity-building exercise since the workshop is being organized, and will be chaired by, postgraduate students of the faculty.
In addition, this event will provide employers the opportunity to network with budding graduates ready for the workplace with a myriad of skills to add value to your company.
