New Staff Member - Alison Oosthuizen

Alison Oosthuizen joined the Division of Immunology (DOI) as a Research Study Co-ordinator for the Prof. Clive Gray group in January 2020. We welcome her with a short interview about her position and few fun facts.

Full name:  Alison Oosthuizen (Ally)

Previous Position: Senior Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse

What are your duties at the DOI?

The duties are plentiful, eg: sourcing study participants, co-ordinating the team, etc.

Why did you choose to join the DOI?

Research opportunities are very interesting and challenging.

What are your goals at the DOI?

To foster a friendly and caring environment within the team and the Department.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

The challenge of a new day.

Any interesting hobbies?

Reading, knitting and giving these homemade knits to the needy. Furthering my knowledge in neonatalogy and paediatrics.
