Mr Migael Mouton

Migael Mouton graduated at the University of the Western Cape in 2023 with his BSc in Biotechnology (summa cum laude). He then decided to specialise in genetics, prompting him to join the Division of Human Genetics at the University of Cape Town in 2023. He then joined the Pharmacogenomics and Drug Metabolism Research Group, where he completed his Honours project under the supervision of Prof Collet Dandara titled "Drug-drug interactions: Evaluating effects on Tamoxifen efficacy". After graduating his BMedScHons (in the first class) in 2024, he is currently continuing his studies as a MSc student in the same group. His current project is titled "Pharmacogenetics of mycophenolic acid exposure in South Africans with lupus nephritis".
