Gameda Benefeld

Gameda has joined the Humgen family in Oct 2004.She completed her Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery at Groote Schuur Hospital in 1982. She moved to Johannesburg in 1983 to join South African Airways as a cabin attendant which she enjoyed doing for 13 years. While flying for SAA she completed her BA Degree via UNISA. After relocating with her husband and children (who keep her very busy), to Cape Town, she has worked for Janssen Cilag on a research project as well as build her dream house from scratch. After a short stint with the HSCRC as a field worker, she then joined Human Genetics as a research nurse where she now works on various projects on a part time basis.
