Congratulations to Dr Johan Enslin for winning the best registrar presentation. Well done!

Dr Samuel Likumbo wrote and passed the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA) examination in November 2022 and subsequently passed the MMed in Anatomical pathology with a distinction at the University of Cape Town in August 2023.  He has continued to provide essential service work at Groote Schuur Hospital until May 2024 and started as a full time Anatomical Pathologist at National Health Laboratory Services (NHLS), Mthatha / Walter Sisulu university (WSU) from June 2024.  He in now in-charge of reporting all of the anatomical pathology work at this unit and will be training two registrars from the July 2024.  We wish Dr Likumbo much success as he builds the academic unit at WSU/NHLS.
