Postgraduate student Dr Britt Heidemann visited the division from 18 to 28 October to familiarise herself with the lipoprotein gradient gel electrophoresis technique and analysis. This division assisted her and other investigators in Utrecht, Netherlands, with a study of PCSK neutralisation by evolocumab in dysbetalipoproteinaemia.  The electrophoresis lanes were converted to densitometric scans from *.tiff files and then analysed by J Image software.
