The 12th LASSA (Lipid and Atherosclerosis Society of Southern Africa) congress, as an extension of SEMDSA (The Society for Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes of South Africa), will be held in Bloemfontein, South Africa, on 17 -19 April, 2015. The congress will include visits from a number of experts in the various fields including Professor Gilles Lambert from France, an expert in PCSK9, an LDL receptor inhibitor.

 
Those attending the LASSA congress from Chemical Pathology will be Professor David Marais, Dr Justine Cole, Dr Dee Blackhurst and Mr Antony Rapulana.
