Must dolutegravir be given twice daily when co-administered with rifampicin?

Aida’s model, developed in healthy volunteers confirmed that rifampicin more than doubles dolutegravir’s clearance when

co-administered. She validated her findings amongst people living with HIV and co-infected with Tuberculosis. She also explored an alternative 100 mg once daily regimen for dolutegravir as opposed to the current guidelines of 50 mg twice daily when given with rifampicin.
