Non-linear effects of body size and maturation made palatable for policy makers and clinicians

In our article titled “One dose does not fit all: revising the WHO paediatric dosing tool to include the non-linear effect of body size and maturation” , recently published in the Lancet – Child and Adolescent Health, we explain the risks when dosing paediatric patients with the same (constant) mg/kg dose as in adults. Our updated dosing tool provides an easy and intuitive platform to bridge between scientific research and policy implementation. The tool will be available soon via the WHO’s website.
