Mr Gideon Wiafe

Gideon is a MSc Medicine (Genomics and Bioinformatics) candidate passionate about translational genomic research. Gideon’s current work involves analyzing long-read sequencing data to uncover structural variants underlying rare neuromuscular disorders. He is also committed to science communication, mentorship, and advancing equity in STEM through community engagement and capacity building.
