Writing spaces

We understand the sometimes isolated and lonely journey as an academic writer. To assist with your development we invite your to join our MS Teams Writing Group offering weekly research reading and writing tips and guides. In addition, we host weekly Shut Up & Write as well as Writers' Circles.

These collaborative spaces offer not only protected time but also a space to navigate the writing challenges and help you develop confidence as academic writers in your respective disciplinary fields.

What is the Shut Up & Write space? Based on the pomodoro technique for getting things done, we write in short protective bursts of 30-40 minutes (x2-3) to get some writing done together.

What are Writers' Circles? A collaborative space to share your writing and get constructive feedback - it provides an opportunity to clarify your thinking and writing about your arguments.
