The role of Dr Tulipoka Soko as an Adjunct Associate Professor recognizes her exceptional set of skills and achievements at the highest level of nursing leadership, nationally and globally. Dr Soko’s experience as a nurse practitioner and leader has given her insights into the professional, social and organisational cultures that African nurse leaders must navigate. She works to empower nurses through a scholarly approach, aligning rigorous exploration of research based insights alongside experiential knowledge. 
Within CNDU, Dr Soko provides a range of contributions in the field of teaching and learning including:
•    Teaching on the Clinical Leadership component of the Master of Nursing (Child Nursing) programme. 
•    Advising on and contributing to ongoing work in the field of human resources for health and nursing workforce development.
•    Personal and professional development of postgraduate students on the Master of Nursing (Child Nursing) programme, and coaching team leaders as part of the Best Practice Project.
