The Harry Crossley Foundation was established in 1968 with the goal of supporting those embarking on postgraduate studies. Since the late Mr Crossley left school early and advanced his own education by attending ‘night school’, he was a firm believer in education and the benefits thereof.

The Foundation has supported students at the University of Cape Town for over three decades, and this Bursary Programme has been established specifically for paediatric nurses to undertake the Master of Nursing in Child Nursing. The aim of this professional masters programme is to prepare paediatric nurse specialists to play a key role in leading clinical practice by developing paediatric nursing expertise to improve health outcomes for children in South Africa and beyond.
