Lee-Ann White
BSc(Nur)(Hons), Paed Dip, RN
Lee-Ann is a Clinical Educator at the CNDU and plays a key role in supporting student learning within paediatric clinical settings. She helps students identify meaningful learning opportunities and serves as course convener for the Essentials of Nursing Sick Children, Essentials of Nursing Children with a Tracheostomy and Essentials of a Paediatric Assessment Short Courses.
A registered nurse, Lee-Ann holds a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) Honours degree from the University of Cape Town and a Post-Basic Diploma in Child Nursing Science from Nico Malan Nursing College.
Before joining the CNDU team in 2009, she spent ten years at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, where she worked as Area Manager of the Medical Emergency Unit and Outpatient Department, and as a ward sister in both general medical and specialised surgical paediatric wards.
Lee-Ann is passionate about creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students can grow in confidence and develop the skills they need to care for children and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening and exploring new places.
