Dr Natasha North

Adjunct Associate Professor

PhD, MSc(Paed), RN

As an Adjunct Associate Professor, Natasha brings a wealth of experience in policy development, research, education and practice development. This is underpinned by a PhD in nursing workforce development, gained during her 10 years as Senior Researcher and then Associate Professor in The Harry Crossley Children’s Nursing Development Unit (CNDU). In that time Natasha played a key role in developing CNDU’s research programme and building the capacity of children’s nurses to lead measurably excellent nursing care.

In April 2024 Natasha returned to her home in the UK to become Director of the Florence Nightingale Foundation Academy. Since September 2023 she has been working as a FNF Global Faculty Associate to lead their work supporting nurse and midwife leaders in Kenya. This demonstrates her continued deep commitment to enhancing the personal and professional growth of nursing leaders.
