Dr Natasha North
PhD, MSc(Paed), RN
As an Adjunct Associate Professor, Natasha brings a wealth of experience in policy development, research, education and practice development. This is underpinned by a PhD in nursing workforce development, gained during her 10 years as Senior Researcher and then Associate Professor in the CNDU. In that time Natasha played a key role in developing our research programme and building the capacity of children’s nurses to lead measurably excellent nursing care.
Since September 2023, Natasha has been working as a Florence Nightingale Foundation (FNF) Global Faculty Associate, leading initiatives to support nurse and midwife leaders in Kenya - a role that reflects her deep and ongoing commitment to strengthening nursing leadership across contexts. In April 2024, she returned to the United Kingdom to take up the position of Director of the Florence Nightingale Foundation Academy.
