Faiza Pearce

Postgraduate Administrative Officer

Faiza is the Administrative Officer at the CNDU, providing vital administrative support across the Unit’s programmes and activities. She serves as the first point of contact for enquiries, with a particular focus on student support and administration.

Before joining the CNDU, Faiza built extensive experience in academic and event management roles and previously served as Project Coordinator for the Dean of the UCT Faculty of Health Sciences and as Project Manager at Londocor Events Management. Earlier in her career, she spent two decades as Executive Secretary and PA to two Heads of the Department of Medicine at UCT, gaining substantial local, national, and international events management experience.

Ma Faiza manages nursing registrations and oversees the logistical arrangements for all international students and visitors. She also provides ongoing support to fellows and other students throughout their studies - whether they are learning remotely or on campus. In addition, Faiza coordinates staff travel, workshops, conferences, webinars, and the Children’s Nursing Educators’ Forum.

When she’s off duty, Faiza enjoys going to the gym and brisk beach walks. She’s passionate about cooking—and if you hear singing coming from the kitchen, it’s probably just her serenading her spices. When the apron comes off, you’ll likely find her doing laps in the pool.
