VACFA Website
Objectives: VACFA website is intended to provide up to date information on vaccines and immunisation. The information provided on the website is aimed at the broader public audience. The website is a forum through which our site visitors can ask questions on matters related to vaccines and immunisation.
Through the website, we join and collaborate with several other global partners to widely disseminate, an accurate and evidence-based information regarding the use of vaccines and information on immunisation practices.
VACFA website contents: Information and materials contained on the website are from diverse sources: academic research institutes, peer reviewed scientific journals and other websites whose information reporting is evidence-based. Where applicable, references for any information provided on the VACFA website are indicated. In addition, VACFA shares some of its research work on the website. Website links from common vaccination groups such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) among many others are also provided.
The website contents: Contents management of the VACFA website follows the University of Cape Town (UCT) Web Content Management Policy guidelines. Dr. Benjamin Kagina provides oversight to the contents of the VACFA website. Dr. Kagina is supported by Prof. Rudzani Muloiwa and Prof. Gregory Hussey.
