The 19th Annual African Vaccinology Course (AAVC), held from 4 – 8 November 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa. Organized by the Vaccines for Africa Initiative (VACFA), brought together 47 participants from 29 African countries, alongside 42 esteemed faculty members, to advance vaccinology expertise across the continent.
The course highlighted key discussions on vaccine equity, emerging diseases, immunization strategies, and innovations in vaccine delivery, with insights from leading global experts.
