We are excited to announce that the 19th Annual African Vaccinology Course (AAVC) will be held from 4 – 8 November 2024. The course conveners, Dr. Edina Amponsah-Dacosta, A/Prof Benjamin Kagina, and Prof Rudzani Muloiwa, warmly invite applications from interested individuals working across the African vaccinology landscape.

Who Should Apply:
- Immunization program managers and officers
- Healthcare providers, researchers, and public health professionals specializing in infectious diseases, disease prevention, vaccine manufacturing, and implementation of immunization activities
- Policymakers, including members of National Immunization Technical Advisory Groups (NITAGs)
- Postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows working in vaccinology, immunology, and related fields
Who Should Not Apply:
- AAVC alumni who have previously attended the in-person course.
Note: Individuals who have attended the online version of the course are encouraged to apply for the in-person event.
Scholarship Opportunities:
A limited number of scholarships are available to cover travel and/or accommodation costs for the duration of the course. If you require financial assistance and would like to be considered for an award, please include a strong motivation for this as part of your application.
