This study was carried out with local partners in India and South Afgrica to shed light on the management and (clinical) outcomes of hospitalised patients with carbapenem-resistant infections in ten tertiary care hospitals in India (5) and South Africa (5). The initial results were discussed with the study's Principal Investigators at meetings held in New Delhi and Cape Town in November. The main results will be communicated publicly at the next ESCMID Global conference in April 2025.
