The HIV MHU has established relationships with a number of groups and institutions both at UCT and beyond:

UCT groups located in the Neuroscience Institute include neuro-imaging and CUBIC; neuropsychology; paediatrics; geriatric medicine; public mental health; clinical pharmacology; and immunology. We also have links to Stellenbosch University groups working in the HIV mental health and infectious diseases spaces.

Our active international collaborators include investigators from Columbia University, Massachussets General Hospital, Miami University, University of Maryland, University of Missouri St Louis, University of Los Angeles California (UCLA), Brown University, Duke University, Oxford University and Cornell. Many of these collaborators have been mentors, colleagues, grant co-holders, and fellow investigators.
