Dr Farahat is a Senior Bioinformatician with a PhD in Computational Biology and extensive expertise in genomic data analysis, encompassing pangenomics, machine learning and bioinformatics workflows. He has a proven track record of developing innovative solutions for next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis, genomic diversity studies and medical informatics. He is deeply committed to advancing the field of bioinformatics in Africa and globally, with a strong emphasis on reproducibility and scalable solutions.
