We are offering a PhD Preparedness course, starting in September 2020. Fully online and spread over 12 weeks, it could be the perfect step towards making your decision.

The aim of the course is to help students bridge the gap between a Masters' degree and a PhD, especially if the Masters' degree was a clinical or professional degree with less of a focus on independent research and academic writing skills.

The outcome of this course is that students will have a very clear idea of what the PhD journey could look like. It will reintroduce participants to advanced academic writing skills and levels of scholarly thinking required to tackle a PhD. In addition the course should provide a firm understanding of whether they are ready for a PhD.
