The TANDem-2 Action Group (Profs Anna Jansen, Petrus de Vries and Liesbeth De Waele and Drs Tosca Heunis, Lucas Gutierrez-Lafrentz, Liezl Schlebusch and Nola Chambers) recently spent three days at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge for an in-person meeting to evaluate our progress over Year 1 of the TANDem-2 project, trouble-shoot current obstacles, and plan our next steps together. It was a very productive time and we feel confident going forward into year 2 of the project. Our beautiful working venue at Corpus Christi College was hosted by Prof Christopher Howe, Fellow and President of Corpus. The Action Group were absolutely delighted to experience the rich traditions of the College and Cambridge during their stay, which included a stimulating visit to the college Parker Library housing one of the world’s finest manuscript collections, a special visit to the Corpus Chronophage Clock, a delicious meal in the elegant surroundings of the college’s Parker Room, an informal get-together with Corpus Medical undergraduates, and a punting trip on the River Cam!
