Members of CARA and the TAND consortium participate in the 2025 TSC International Research Conference, Bethesda, USA
Tosca Heunis presented findings on the Feasibility and Acceptability of the TAND Toolkit App in the Early Career Research Symposium and as a conference poster presentation. She was also awarded a Vicky H Whittemore travel award! Prof Anna Jansen, Liezl Schlebusch and Nola Chambers presented information about TANDem-2 to members of TSC International in the TSCi preconference workshop. In the main conference, Lucas Gutierrez-Lafrentz presented a poster outlining the TANDem-2 project protocol. Nola Chambers presented findings on the Validation of the TAND-SQ Cluster and Total Severity Scores. Contributions from other members of the TAND consortium included presentations on epilepsy control by Darcy Krueger, characterising human TSC neurons to identify new treatment targets by Mustafa Sahin and updates on the Regulating Together intervention trial by Jamie Capal. Anna Jansen and Jamie Capal also facilitated an interactive mini-symposium on TAND. Congratulations to all on a very successful conference!
