The CARA lab spent a fruitful three days at the beautiful Mont Fleur conference venue strategising around CARA activities for the next few years. This included a focus on community engagement, implementation and dissemination of CARA project research findings, training and research capacity building, and thinking about ideas for the prestigious INSAR 2027 conference which will be hosted in Cape Town, a first for the African continent! In the midst of troubling funding issues, we are very thankful to Prof de Vries for this stimulating and vision-creating time!
