The 28th Annual Scientific Sessions of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance was held at the historic and beautiful Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC, from January 29 to February 1, 2025.

Under the theme, “Leading the Way to Accessible, Sustainable, and Efficient CMR,” the annual SCMR Scientific Sessions served not only as a platform for education but also to bring together all professions involved in the field of CMR, from technologists to scientists, from clinicians to industry partners, from novices to the most seasoned experts in the field, as a vibrant community. It offers unparalleled opportunities to network with peers and experts, discuss emerging trends and latest developments, and share experiences with colleagues from around the globe. 

CHI members gave several presentations on the diagnostic utilisation of CMR in rare medical conditions.
