Dr Juliet Nabbaale presents at the ESC Heart Failure Congress

The Heart Failure Congress is an annual meeting organized by the Heart Failure Association of the ESC. This event, which is taking place in Lisbon and online from May 11-14, 2024, is considered the world's leading conference covering the entire spectrum of heart failure.
The primary objective of the event is to improve the quality of life and longevity of patients by enhancing the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart failure. This includes establishing networks for its management, education, and research. Dr. Juliet Nabbaale, a PhD student at the University of Cape Town's Cape Heart Institute, presented an abstract titled "Clinical Characteristics, Echocardiographic Findings, and Six-Month Outcomes in Ugandan Women with Peripartum Cardiomyopathy: A Prospective Case-Control Study."
