MBChB student Peter Hudson awarded his MSc degree in Medicine with distinction

The members of the Cape Heart Institute would like to sincerely congratulate Mr Peter Hudson (A 4th-year Medical student registered at UCT) for receiving his MSc degree in Medicine with distinction in December 2022.

His research project, entitled “exploring high-density lipoprotein (HDL) subfractions and functions in HIV patients”, was conducted under the supervision of Prof Sandrine Lecour (Leader of the cardioprotection group at the Cape Heart Institute), as part of a collaboration with the Universities of Stellenbosch (Prof Hans Strijdom) and Geneva (Dr Miguel Frias).  Well done to Peter for successfully completing his MSc degree in parallel to his medical studies.
