Prof Liesl Zühlke received a prestigious award at the American Heart Association Conference

Congratulations to Prof Liesl Zühlke for the 2022 Distinguished Achievement Award “Young Heart Council Award” and Special Lectures “T. Duckett Jones Memorial Lecture” at the American Heart Association conference in Chicago for her outstanding contributions to paediatric cardiology research. Prof Zühlke is the first recipient from Africa to receive this prestigious award and one of the only very few women. Congratulations Liesl!
