Congratulations to Dr Vitaris Kodogo

Cape Heart Institute (CHI) congratulates Dr Vitaris Kodogo on his graduation (PhD) during the graduation ceremony held at the University on December 14, 2021.  The title of the thesis is: Characterisation of cardiac remodelling associated with pregnancy: providing insights to peripartum cardiomyopathy. Prof Karen Sliwa was his supervisor with both Prof. Sandrine and Dr Feriel Azibani as co-supervisors. 

"What an honour to work with Prof Sliwa, Prof Lecour and Dr Azibani. Words can neither qualify nor quantify how helpful their guidance and mentorship was throughout my PhD” he said.  “They transformed my weaknesses into skills. I appreciate everything the CHI and UCT have taught me." concluded Kodogo.  CHI wishes Dr Kodogo everything of the best in his future endeavours.
