Professor Liesl Zühlke awarded the Public Engagement with Research Award

Congratulations to Professor Liesl Zühlke who was awarded the Public Engagement with Research Award at the recent NRF awards 2021.

The award recognises individuals in the research community at South African Higher Education Institutions and science councils who make outstanding contribution to public engagement with and understanding of various areas of science over sustained period.
The aim of the award is to encourage academics to make their work, and science and technology in general, more accessible to the public.
