Uganda introduces new Rotavirus vaccine

With the support of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), Uganda has introduced the Rotavirus vaccine. The Rotavirus vaccine provides protection against one of the leading causes of diarrhoea in children. This is the 11^th vaccine to be introduced into the Ugandan Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI). The vaccine will be available free-of-charge in health facilities throughout the country. Read more.
