Ethiopia becomes one of the 42 Countries to eliminate Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus

Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has achieved Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus Elimination (MNTE) and becomes the 42nd country validated for MNTE. The joint mission from UNICEF and WHO Africa Regional Office who have made the final validation assessment from 28-30 June 2017 declared that Ethiopia is validated for eliminating Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus.
