    Dr. Nelson Alexandre da Cruz Soares has received his PhD from New University of Lisbon-Instituto de Tecnologia Quimica e Biologica (ITQB) for Plant Biochemistry in 2008. He has lived and study/worked in five different countries. Currently, he is working as Junior Research Fellowin our division.
    Research interests: Proteomics; Phosphoprotemics; Bacterial Proteomics; Mass Spectrometry. He is currently mainly interest in employing high resolution mass spectrometry based proteomics techniques to identify underlying molecular mechanisms underpinning bacterial environmental adaptation, stress response, antidrug resistance, virulence and persistence
