Sturrock lab - Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) structure activity relationships and development of ACE inhibitors (drug design) for treatment of hypertension, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction and renal disease
- Blackburn lab - Application of functional proteomics for diagnostics, drug and vaccine development for infectious disease and cancers
- Stefan Barth - Research uses medical biotechnology such as antibody selection technology and protein engineering and expression to develop knowledge-based recombinant immunodiagnostics and therapeutics
- Luiz Zerbini - Regulation of gene expression by transcription factors, role of receptor tyrosine kinases in cancer malignancies, aberrant gene expression in carcinogenesis, alterations in signal transduction pathways and gene translocations
