Prof Richard Matzopoulos

Richard is Director of the South African Medical Research Council’s Burden of Disease Research Unit. He also co-ordinates the Violence and Injury Research programme at the University of Cape Town’s Division of Public Health Medicine, where he holds the position of Honorary Professor, and serves on the interim Steering Committee of the Health Science Faculty’s Trauma Advocacy Group.
